This release is full of new features to improve the Admin experience across many different areas; including Course assignment notifications, new list views, and Learning Path improvements.
Courses Assignments
When updating an assignment and notifications are enabled, Admins are shown the option to send new notifications or save without sending. This option only applies if the "Send notifications" toggle is turned on.
Why it's awesome:
Previously, notifications were sent every time the assignment was updated and saved. The option to "save without sending" ensures that users only receive update emails when necessary.
User Manager
Why it's awesome:
A confirmation prompt before deleting a user ensures users aren't deleted accidentally.
Blogs
Why it's awesome:
This allows Admins to control which users have access to specific Blog content. This is particularly important for multi-audience learning programs like both internal and external users.
User Importer
Why it's awesome:
Previously, all users were updated in the enabled status. Now, Admins have more options and Tovuti support more use cases.
Report Builder
- Legacy reports have the toggle turned “on”
- New reports default to the toggle turned “off”
- Exception: the “Active Users” report always includes disabled users
Why it's awesome:
Previously, all reports included both enabled and disabled users. This single toggle now replaces a lot manual, repetitive work.
Overview Dashboard (Private Release)
Why it's awesome:
Admins can now create course-specific overview dashboards to report on data like course completion rate or time spent in a course.
- Popup Notifications - Updated list view with enhanced pagination and “Duplicate” function.
- Course Categories - Search & Quick Filter functions added to the list view.
- eLearning Packages - Quick Filter functions added to list view.
- New Course Progress data points added to the Report Builder Learning Path Progress report.

- Reorder Checklists: Reordering Checklists within the list view does not affect items within the Checklists.
- Add Event Registrant: User selection overwrites other form information. Selecting “no user” zeroes out any previously provided information.
- Sales Page: Users who purchase multiple Courses that include Events, all events are shown in the Sales Page under a dropdown in the Course Purchase row.
- Lessons User View: When a user completes all lessons within a course, the final lesson in the course allows the user to move to the Final Course Survey through the arrow in the "Up Next..." section of the lesson.

Tovuti 2.85.5 - 5 April 2024
- Mutlilingual Courses - Previously, when a learner logged progress or completed a course in one language, that progress/completion wasn't shown in all languages. This issue has been resolved, and now the progress/completion is displayed the same in all languages.
- Event Imports & Exports - The Virtual Classroom and Auto Check-in fields were not functioning properly in the previous version. With this bugfix, these fields are now fully functional, ensuring a seamless event management experience.
- Community Notifications - The "Send Email Notifications" toggle now prevents all email notifications from sending, regardless of other admin or learner-side setting configurations. This fix gives users more control over their email notifications and prevents any unwanted emails.
- Checklists - Duplicate checklists with "User selection" completions previously causes one checklist to auto-complete an item on the duplicate checklist. However, this bug has been fixed. Please note that this fix is not retroactive, and all duplicated checklists with "User selection" as the completion method should be re-duplicated to avoid any potential issues.
- Virtual Classrooms - Attendance tracker performance has been improved in the Virtual Classroom. The process runs every 4 minutes, so there may be a margin of error up to 4 minutes in the attendance length tracked.
- Community Friend Requests - The limit on the number of "Friend" requests per user has been removed. Users can now send unlimited friend requests, enhancing their social interactions within the community.
- Activity Dashboards - The "Total users" chart in the Activity Dashboards has been renamed to "Total new user registrations" to provide a clearer understanding of the data. Additionally, this chart is now filtered based on the selected time period, allowing users to analyze new user registrations more effectively.
- Discussion Boards/Forums - Additional fields in the Discussion Boards/Forums are now translated in all 18 supported languages. This improvement ensures a consistent user experience for all users, regardless of their language preferences.
- Learner Portal Mobile Responsive Fixes - Several mobile responsive issues in the Learner Portal have been addressed. The login page, subscriptions, and header text overlay have been fixed, providing a better user experience for learners accessing the system on mobile devices.
- Admin Actions History - Formatting and UI changes have been made to the Admin Actions History feature. These changes enhance the overall usability and visual appeal of the feature, making it easier for administrators to track and review their actions.
