Here are the new updates we implemented this week:
New Feature
Single Sign-On — Choose the SSO App for a Deep Link
Sites with more than one SSO configuration can now connect several SSO apps to the SSO Deep Link Button. In the site's Design settings, select the SSO apps for the button; with two or more selected, clicking the button opens a short list so you can pick which configuration the copied link should use, and the link is generated with that configuration already applied. Sites with a single SSO configuration keep the same one-click copy as before. This feature is available upon request with your Client Success Manager or the Support team.
Why it's awesome:
Administrators serving several audiences through different identity providers can hand out the right link every time, with no more hand-editing the URL before sending it out.
New Feature
Auto Notifications — "Associated Site" on Every Alert Type
The Associated site setting (Global or a specific site) is now available on every Auto Notification alert type under Communications > Auto Notifications, on the alert's Details tab. Previously it appeared only on the Checklist Assigned and New User Welcome alerts. Emails sent by the alert, including test emails, use the selected site's name, branding, and sender. Existing alerts with no site set are treated as Global, so nothing changes until you pick a site.
Why it's awesome:
Multi-site and multi-domain instances can control which brand every notification is sent from, so learners always hear from the site they know.
New Feature
Team Lead Dashboard — Approve Waiting List Registrations
When an event has both the Waiting List toggle and "Require Approval to Register – Team Leads" enabled, the Team Lead Dashboard's Registration Requests tab now distinguishes waiting list requests from full registration requests. Team Leads with the "Assign Events" permission can approve a learner onto the waiting list directly instead of receiving an Event Capacity error. Events using only one of the two toggles are unaffected.
Why it's awesome:
Team Leads can manage their own team's event demand end to end, removing the need to escalate every waitlist request to a Site Admin.
Bug Fixes
- User Manager — Fixed an issue where disabling a user account with the row checkmark in People > User Manager removed that user's event registrations. Registrations are now retained; however, the account is disabled, preserving the record for reporting.
- Events — Fixed an issue where Group Registration confirmation emails did not include the invoice PDF when "Send invoice to registrants" was enabled. The primary registrant and all additional registrants now receive it.
