Here are the new updates we implemented this week:
New Feature
Email Settings — Connect a Microsoft Account for Email Delivery
Outgoing email can now be authorized against a Microsoft mailbox instead of stored SMTP credentials. Under Configuration > Email, an OAuth2 card on a saved email setting offers Connect Microsoft account. When using OAuth2 the Mail from address must match the connected mailbox unless a Send As alias has been configured for it. On a new, unsaved setting, the card prompts you to save first and return to connect. Google is not yet available as an OAuth2 provider and will be enabled in a later release. This feature is available upon request with your Client Success Manager or the Support team.
Why it's awesome:
Organizations that have retired basic SMTP authentication in Microsoft 365 can keep Tovuti email flowing through their own tenant, with modern authentication and no shared password to rotate.
Bug Fixes
- Login — Fixed an issue where the login form could stay in a loading state indefinitely with no error shown when a login attempt was rejected at the network edge, which affected certain email address formats. The form now exits the loading state and displays a message directing the user to try their username or contact support.
- Subscriptions — Fixed an issue where the Card column on eCommerce > Subscriptions was always empty, and the CSV export showed an internal ID instead of the card used; the column and the export now show the card on file (last four digits) where one was charged. The Plan column also no longer breaks for registrations whose plan has since been removed.
