Events offer a great opportunity to package learning resources in new and exciting formats.
Go to Social > Click Events > Click New
The majority of event customization happens in the Basic Information tab. Within this tab, designate Event Details, Group Registration Rates, Miscellaneous, Recurring Settings, and Recurring Ending.
Other tabs include Discount Settings, Advanced Settings, Translation, Additional Dates, and Community Social Groups.
Within the LMS Courses tab, choose which Course accesses are triggered by registration to this Event.
From the list view, an Event is exported to a spreadsheet file by clicking the checkbox next to an Event > click the Event dropdown > click Export.
Events are created by importing a csv, xls, or xlsx file.
*Note: To properly import a new Event, an Event first needs to be created and exported to function as the spreadsheet template. The process for exporting an event is outlined above.
Go to Social > click Events > click the Events dropdown > click Import
Click Choose File and select the spreadsheet file from your computer. This file should follow the template downloaded from a previously created Event.
Click Import Events.
The new event(s) will be imported and can be further edited if necessary.
