All learning content created in Tovuti may be used in harmony to create a seamless experience for Learners. Including Course Events integrates event material and meeting capabilities directly into a Course.
Alternatively, Events may be added to a Course as a Lesson Activity.
Course Events show up in a Course’s Lesson list and include Event time, date, and location.

When adding Events to a Course, ensure that the permissions for the Course and Event are aligned. Content may be permissioned by User Groups.
Add Course Events from the Course Editor
Admins may add any number of events to a particular course from the Course Editor.
Go to Learning > click Courses > select a previously-created Course or click New
Enable Course Events
In the Advanced Settings tab, Enable Course Events and select one or more Events in the Course Events field.
Restrict registration outside of the Course
Enable Restrict registration outside of Course Events to ensure learners can’t access the event outside of the course.
When this feature is turned on, then added Course Events won’t show up in the normal Events module in the user portal.
Limit the Number of Course Event Registrations
The default Course Event setting is that Learners may register for all Course Events. Admins may add configure a course to only enable Learners to register for one or a few of the Course Events.
Select No for Allow Learners to Register for all Course Events and input a limit to the number of Course Event registrations allowed.
Once a Learner has reached the limit for allowed Course Events, they are blocked from accessing the other Events.
Require Course Event Registration
Select Yes for Event Registration required to require that Learners register for the included events to trigger Course Completion.
Admins may also require Check-in, so learners must attend the event to complete the course.
Add a Course Event from the Event Editor
Admins may add an event to any number of courses from the Event Editor.
Go to Social > click Events > select a previously-created Event or click New
In the Courses tab, select one or more Courses in which to include this Event.
Course Event Reporting
Course Events show up in the Sales log and Transaction Reports. For more information on course event reporting, view the Help Center article here.
Learner Experience
From the User Portal, learners click the Event in the Lesson list, click More Details, and then register for the event.
