We want to ensure we are monitoring and Tovuti remains up and operational at this time. There are services that may be impactful to your sites, such as YouTube and Vimeo, among others. The MOYO button in the bottom right corner of the admin panel is also affected by this disruption.

This guide covers how to set default stream views, outlines current limitations, and suggests best practices for moderating community activity within Tovuti LMS.

Setting the Default Community Stream Filter

To personalize your Community Stream view, you can set a custom filter. This allows you to focus on content that matters most to you or your learners. Currently, this setting is per user—not global. Follow these steps to configure:

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right of your Community Stream.
  2. Select "My Friends & I" from the available filter options.
  3. Confirm the warning box to save the filter.
  4. Navigate away from the page to see updates based on your filter.

 

Monitoring Community Discussions

Tracking user participation in the Community under Monitor > Activity. Group-based reporting for checking who has or hasn't posted is not yet available, though it’s a frequently requested feature and may be improved in future Tovuti updates.

  • Encourage responsible posting with clear community guidelines.
  • Leverage Forums for content needing moderation.
  • Use dashboard monitoring features to manually review activity.
