When creating an Event, Administrators have the option to enable Group Registration. Group Registrations allow a single user to register multiple users at a single time and, if enabled, access Group discounts.
Go to the Event edit view > Basic Information tab
Scroll down and configure a Price for this Event.
Group Registration Tier Pricing
Configure group rates in the Group Registration Rates section. The Registrants Number and Rate/Person fields determine the Group Discount tiers.
In the example above:
- An individual registration is $50 per person
- When 2 people register as a group, they pay $90 ($45 per person)
- When 3 people register as a group, they pay $120 ($40 per person)
- When 4+ people register as a group, they pay $140 ($35 per person)
Click Add to create additional group tiers.
[Blue Note: The largest size Group Registration Rate applies to all larger Group sizes.]
Group Size Limitations
Set a Minimum and Maximum Number of Registrants for Group Registration.
Learner Experience
When registering for an Event, Users are shown the Individual Price and the Group Registration Rates.
In the registration window, users provide the number of Registrants in their group and click Next.
Users provide the Member Information for each member of the group, and click Next.
Users provide payment information to finish the registration process. The total amount due reflects the special group registration rate for the amount of Users in their group.
In this example, 4 registrants at $35 per person equals $140.
The total amount for the group is due at the time of registration.
Edit Group Registrations
Once a Group Registration is processed, a single registration shows in the Registrants List marked as a “Group Billing.”
Click the name on the group registration to edit it.
Scroll down and add, remove, or edit the Group Members.
