The following features are now available to all Admins and Tovuti Users:
Question Banks for Quizzes
Admins can now build a Question Bank — a reusable pool of quiz questions that a quiz draws from randomly. Instead of every learner seeing the same fixed set of questions, each attempt pulls a configured number of questions at random from the bank. This keeps assessments fresh, reduces the ability to memorize answers, and makes retakes meaningful.
Why it's awesome:
When every learner sees the same questions in the same order, assessments lose their value over repeated attempts. Question Banks introduce randomization at the quiz level — admins build a larger pool than any single attempt will draw, and the platform handles the rest. Each learner gets a unique experience, and the assessment stays an honest measure of what they know.
Team Leads Can Add Existing Members
Team Leads can now add existing LMS users directly to their team — no Admin involvement required. Previously, adding a user who already had an account in the system required an Admin to manually handle it on the backend. Team Leads can now search for and add existing users themselves, giving them the autonomy to manage their team without creating a ticket or waiting on support.
Why it's awesome:
Team growth shouldn't require an Admin bottleneck. When a new person joins a team or someone transfers from another group, Team Leads can handle it themselves in seconds — keeping their team roster accurate and their learners moving without delay.
Unify Multi-Day and Course Events
Multi-day events and course events are now handled through a unified integration, giving admins a consistent experience when scheduling and managing events across both formats.
Why it's awesome:
Managing events used to mean navigating two separate workflows depending on the event type. Now everything lives in one consistent experience, reducing confusion and saving admin time.
Fixed Term Subscriptions
Admins can now configure subscriptions with a defined start and end date, giving organizations greater control over time-limited access to learning content.
Why it's awesome:
Not every subscription should run indefinitely. Fixed term subscriptions let you align access windows with cohorts, compliance cycles, or contract periods — without manual intervention to revoke access when the time is up.
Registration Approval Email Sent to Admins
When a user requests to register for an event, admins will now automatically receive an email notification to review and approve the request — keeping approvals moving without admins needing to check the platform manually.
Why it's awesome:
Approval-gated events are only as good as the speed of the approval. This update removes the bottleneck by bringing the action directly to the admin's inbox.
Multiple Instructors in Lessons
Lessons can now be assigned multiple instructors, making it easier to credit co-facilitators, subject matter experts, or guest speakers alongside a primary instructor.
Why it's awesome:
Team-taught sessions are common, but the platform previously only supported one instructor per lesson. Now your learners and records accurately reflect everyone who contributed to delivering the content.
Optimize Checklist Report
The checklist report has been optimized for improved performance, delivering faster load times and a smoother experience when reviewing checklist completion data across your organization.
Why it's awesome:
For organizations with large user bases, checklist reports used to be slow. This optimization means admins can pull the data they need quickly — no more waiting around for the page to catch up.
Windows Zips Compatibility
ZIP files created on Windows are now fully compatible when uploading content packages to the platform, eliminating errors that previously occurred due to Windows-specific file formatting.
Why it's awesome:
Content authors working on Windows were hitting frustrating upload failures that required workarounds. This fix removes that friction entirely so teams can upload their content without extra steps.
Team Members Inherit Profile Fields
Admins can now enable a setting in team configuration that automatically applies profile field values to team members, reducing the need for manual data entry when users join a team.
Why it's awesome:
Keeping profile data consistent across team members has always required manual work. With inherited profile fields, teams stay organized automatically as membership changes.
Subscription Expiration in Certificates
Certificates can now be configured to factor in subscription expiration dates, giving admins greater control over how and when recognition is issued relative to a learner's active subscription window.
Why it's awesome:
For organizations using time-bound subscriptions, awards tied to completion now stay in sync with access windows — ensuring recognition is issued at the right moment in the learner's journey.
Manual Quiz Result Entry
Admins can now manually enter quiz results on behalf of learners, providing a path to record scores for assessments completed outside the platform or in special circumstances.
Why it's awesome:
Not every assessment happens inside the LMS. Manual result entry bridges the gap between offline or blended learning scenarios and the learner's official record — without workarounds or data inconsistencies.
Checklist Assigned Notifications
Users now receive a notification when a checklist is assigned to them, ensuring they're aware of new requirements without relying on admins to communicate assignments manually.
Why it's awesome:
Checklists only drive action if learners know they exist. Automated assignment notifications close the loop between an admin assigning a checklist and a learner actually completing it.
Advanced Question Types
Assessments now support advanced question types including essay responses and multi-select multiple choice, giving course authors more flexibility in how they evaluate learner knowledge and comprehension.
Why it's awesome:
Standard multiple choice only tells you so much. Essay questions let learners demonstrate deeper understanding in their own words, while multi-select questions better reflect real-world decision-making scenarios.
Enroll Users in Learning Paths from Assignment
Admins can now enroll users directly into learning paths as part of the assignment workflow, streamlining the process of connecting required training to structured learning paths in a single step.
Why it's awesome:
Previously, assigning content and enrolling users in a learning path were separate actions. Combining them into one step means less admin overhead and faster onboarding for learners.
Additional Team Lead Reports
Team leads now have access to expanded reporting options within their dashboard, giving them greater visibility into their team's learning activity and progress without needing admin-level access. New reports include Learning Path Progress, Learner Progress, and Awards reports.
Why it's awesome:
Team leads are often the closest to their team's day-to-day progress, but their reporting view was limited. These additions give team leads the data they need to coach and follow up effectively — right in their own dashboard.
Team Members Optimize Query
The team member user list in the Team Lead dashboard has been significantly optimized, resulting in faster load times and smoother sorting and filtering without affecting any existing functionality.
Why it's awesome:
For team leads managing large teams, the user list used to load slowly — making it frustrating to find and sort through members. This optimization makes the experience snappy and responsive, so team leads can get to work faster.
