The User Manager logs and tracks much information for each user. In the Courses tab, a user’s course purchases and progress are recorded and admins may perform a variety of course-related actions.
This article outlines the following concepts:
Courses Bought
The Courses Bought section lists all the courses that the learner has purchased, including “free” purchases of a course registration.
Click Delete to remove the user’s course purchase. The delete action always revokes user access to the course.
Click Refund to process a refund of the user’s purchase.
Admins may allow the user to retain or revoke user access to the course.
Courses without a Refund button are free registrations that can’t be refunded.
Click Purchase Course to give a user access to a specific course.
The course is added to the Courses Bought list with a status of “Fully Paid.”
Course Progress
The Course Progress section shows the percent completed, started date, and completed date.
Click Edit Progress to make changes to Date Started, Date Completed, and Due Date. Setting a Date Completed marks the course as complete for the user.
Click Archive to reset the completion percentage for a course. Archiving progress is a permanent action and can’t be undone.
As mentioned in the confirmation notice, archiving course progress also archives all lesson activity responses, quizzes, and lesson progress associated with the course.
Click Add Progress to trigger course progress on a learner’s behalf, and optionally provide a start or end date.
The updates are added to the Course Progress list.
