Private Access Features are functional new features that still require some development.
The Instructor Desk allows instructors to access and manage important event and registrant information. Similar to the Team Lead Dashboard, the Instructor Desk is available from the learner portal.
Instructors can complete the following event-related actions from the Instructor Desk:
- Add/Remove Registrants
- Check-in Registrants
- Edit an upcoming event
- Edit the waiting list

Add an Instructor to an Event
Navigate to an Event and access the Basic Information tab, scroll down, and select one or multiple Instructors.
Select to include any files from the File Manager that an Instructor accesses from the Instructor Desk. These Instructor Files are only accessible from the Instructor Desk and are distinct from the Registrant files that learners receive upon registering.
Enable Instructor Desk
The Instructor Desk is enabled from the User Dashboards edit view in the Instructor Desk tab.
When turned on, Instructors access the Instructor Desk from the Learner Dashboard dropdown.
Edit Event Permissions
Click Yes for Edit Event Details to allow Instructors to edit upcoming events; including the location, virtual classroom, and start/end times.
When turned on, Instructors can directly edit any upcoming event.
Manage Registrant Permissions
Click Yes for Manage Registrants to allow Instructors to edit and manage the registration and waiting lists.
Instructors can add, remove, or check-in Registrants; including those on the Waiting List.
Admins may add a user Object Type to include in the registrant and waiting lists to give Instructors visibility into User Object assignments.
In this example, the Object Type “Organization” is added to the Instructor Desk:
Event Instructor Survey
The Instructor Desk can include an Instructor Survey. These surveys are available after an Event has been completed and act to collect feedback from the Instructor about the event.
After an event ends, Instructors can access the survey from the Past Events tab:
