Manage a Discussion Board Dashboard

The Dashboard gives an administrator quick access to the settings, statistics, and other features of Discussion Boards. Utilize these settings to better engage Learners as they interact with one another. 

This article outlines the following concepts:

 

Access Dashboard

Go to Social > Under the Discussion Board header, click Dashboard

Available Customizations

Within the Dashboard, access the following items to customize the Discussion Board experience:

  • Categories - edit and create Discussion Board Categories
  • Users - view Users who have engaged in a Discussion Board
  • Files - view any attachments that have been connected to a Discussion Board
  • Emoticons - view enabled emoticons or create a new emoticon
  • Ranks - create and manage ranks that categorize User's engagement on the Discussion Board
  • Configuration - configure Discussion Board Settings 
  • Logs
  • Statistics
  • Tools
  • Trash - view Discussion Board comments that have been moved to the Trash
