Tovuti Tokens

This feature is currently in Private Access stage and only available upon request from the Tovuti Support Team.

Private Access Features are functional new features that still require some development.

Tovuti allows Administrators to customize payment options for their users. Tovuti Tokens are an “LMS currency” that enables alternative business cases other than direct monetization.

Tovuti Tokens are usable exclusively with Purchase Orders. 

This article outlines the following concepts:

 

Create a Token

Go to E-Commerce > click Tokens > click New

Click History to view previous actions in Tokens. 

 

Give this Token a Title and set if the Token is Enabled. Give this Token a Description (admin only).

Set a Value for this Token, which is the number of tokens per one unit of Purchase Order Currency.

Use Tokens in a Purchase Order

From the Purchase Order edit screen, enable the use of Tokens and select the Token.

From the User Portal, the price is shown in Tokens after a Token PO number is entered.

Future Development

Tovuti Tokens will be assignable directly to Learners, allowing users to purchase or earn Tokens when they complete Checklists, Lesson Activities, etc.
