Here are the new updates we implemented this week:
New Feature
Multi-Lingual Default Language with English Fallback
Learners can now set a default language for viewing course lessons, and if a lesson isn't available in that language, the system will automatically show the English version instead of leaving a gap in the course.
Why it's awesome:
Learners always have a lesson to view in a language they understand, with no missing content or broken course flow when a translation isn't available yet.
New Feature
Improved Automatic Course Progress Resets
Automatic course progress resets now take a learner's full reset history into account instead of only the most recent reset date, and updates happen much closer to real time rather than waiting for a once-daily process.
Why it's awesome:
Admins and learners see accurate, up-to-date assignment statuses right away, instead of waiting up to a full day for recurring training resets to reflect correctly.
New Feature
Retroactive Due Date Calculation for Returning Learners
When a learner leaves an organization and later returns, the system now recalculates their training due date based on their last completion date instead of automatically showing them as "Complete."
Why it's awesome:
Compliance stays accurate for returning employees, so recurring training requirements are never accidentally skipped or marked complete when they shouldn't be.
Bug Fixes
- Courses — Fixed an issue where changing the language while viewing a Lesson allowed Users to complete an entire Course by finishing only a single Lesson.
- User Manager — Fixed an issue where enabling or disabling a user account was not being recorded in the User Manager History.
- Virtual Classrooms — Fixed an issue where unauthenticated Users could view and access Virtual Classrooms through URL manipulation.
