Overview Dashboards allow Administrators to create customizable dashboards that may include any of 200+ data sources with a variety of visualization options. The data sources provide totals, averages, percentages, etc.; supporting a variety of advanced reporting use cases.

Example Overview Dashboard
Create a New Overview Dashboard
Go to Analytics > click Overview Dashboards > click New
In the Settings tab, give this dashboard a Title, Description, and a logo that is shown when the dashboard is exported.
Overview Dashboard Filters
Data that is pulled into the dashboard can be filtered by User Groups, User Objects (private release), or Courses.
Course Filters are applied to the following data sources:
- Course Completion Rate
- Courses Started
- Courses Completed
- Courses Registered
- Courses
- Course Events
- Bizlibrary Content [Courses]
- eLearning Package Content [Courses]
- Course Assignments
- Revenue [Courses]
- Courses Purchased
- Average Learner Time on Course (min)
- Lessons
- Lessons Started
- Lessons Completed
- Average Learner Time on Lesson (min)
- Bizlibrary Content [Lessons]
- eLearning Package Content [Lessons]
Add Data Source Visualization
View the Dashboard in the Dashboard tab. Click Edit Dashboard and then click to Add data sources to the Dashboard, selecting either Single Number or Chart visualizations.
For a Single Number, give the visualization a Title, select a Data Source, and click Ok.
Admins may Edit, Delete, or click-drag to Reorder existing data visualizations.
For Chart visualizations; give the chart a Title, select the Chart Type, and select multiple Data Sources for each bar or section to be represented. Also select if the chart should be viewed at the full width of the page.
Available chart types include:
1) Bar Chart (vertical) - shown in “Full-Width”
2) Area Chart
3) Bar Chart (horizontal)
4) Line Chart
5) Donut Chart
6) Pie Chart
7) Radar Chart
When all visualizations have been configured, click Save.
Admins may update the Range to show data from a specific time range.

- Lesson Activity data (per activity type)

- Interactive Content (per content type)
- Media Items, Quizzes, Surveys, etc

- Brands, Login Pages, etc.
Experiment with different data sources to discover the most powerful dashboards for your team.
Data Sources that do not include time-tracking are not affected by the Time Range.
Dashboard Layouts
Single Numbers (1) are shown above the Charts (2).
Admins may download a dashboard as PDF or a JPG.
