Learning Path Tags

Tags provide additional categorization for Learning Paths. Tags help learners quickly find the right Learning Path in the following ways:

• Tags are shown when Learners review a Learning Path
• Subcategory pages include a tag dropdown filter 
• Tags are included in search results on Learning Path pages

Add a Tag to a Learning Path

Go to Learning > click Learning Paths > select an existing Learning Path

In the list view, there is a column showing the tags assigned to each Learning Path. Learning Paths can also be filtered by Tags.

In the Details tab, select from the list of previously created Tags. 

Click Save to add those tags to this learning path.

Create a New Tag

From the Details tab, click New Tag.

In the slide-out modal, give this tag a Name and click Save.

The new tag is automatically added to the Learning Path. 

Click Save. The new tag becomes an available option when assigning tags to other Learning Paths. 

The Learner Experience

In a Subcategory Page of the Learner Portal, Learning Paths can be filtered by Tags. 

Tags assigned to a Learning Path are shown in the Learning Path tile. 

The Learning Path search function includes tags in the search results.

Future Development

• Show/hide tags from the learner view
• Extend tags to Courses and Events
• Replace the existing Media Item tags with these new tags
• Integrate tags into a Global Learner Search feature that is currently in development
