Admins can edit and extend much of the default learner experience of the logged-in and logged-out views, including images, buttons, colors, and functionality through custom code.
This article outlines a few of the modifications that Admins may apply to various pages in the logged-out view, as well as custom code samples to customize the learner experience. Custom code to update the logged-out view is added to the Landing Pages edit view.
The customizations below may also be applied to the logged-in view using a similar custom code.
This article outlines the following concepts:
Use a Custom Font
Admins use custom CSS to apply unique fonts to specific areas of the logged-out view.
For example, the Admin may change the font of the Header text, and keep all other fonts the same.
Custom Font Styling
Custom font styling such as font sizes, applying all-caps, and custom spacing can be applied to different elements of the logged-out view.
For example, the following text can be set to 50px (half of the default size).
Remove the Header Overlay Image
Header images in the logged-in view include a default overlay that darkens the image. Admins can remove this overlay on any page of the logged-out view.
