Before new users are able to register, they will be introduced to the LMS through a Landing Page or Login Page. This is an organization’s first chance to show off some of the features of the LMS courses and resources. Landing Pages are often used to share Subscription Plans, public Events, and Courses to purchase and register for the LMS.
Go to Website > Click Landing Page > Click New
In the Basic Information tab, provide a Name, Description, Default Font, Logo, and set if the logo will link to the homepage (suggested image size: 180x60 px).
In the Header Section and Footer Sections tabs, customize the different options that form how this page will appear. In the Menu field of the Header Section, select the Navigation Menu that provides the buttons/links for this page.
In the Home Page Colors tab, select the colors that create the branded experience of this Landing Page. Best practices for choosing colors can be found in the Three Color Design Help Center article.
In the Slideshow tab, add and customize images that show on a rotation for this Landing Page. This is most often used to represent different aspects of the host organization or LMS, be it photos from a live event, member spotlights, or other highlights.
In the Testimonials tab, add positive reviews from Learners to create excitement for all those coming to the LMS.
In the CSS Styling and JavaScript tabs, admins are able to write custom code to build this landing page. Zone tabs are for additional customized sections of the landing page.
Click Save.
While editing the Landing Page, click Preview Design to view the most recently saved version.
Other Preview buttons throughout the Admin Portal usually show the version that is currently in edit and not saved. This Landing Page Preview Design button works differently.
