Badges allow for students and users to understand their progress through your LMS. Not only can badges be used to motivate students, but they can also be used to graduate users to new categories and courses.
Go to Learning > Click Badges & Certificates > Click New
Apply the basic information such as title and description. Designate whether this is a Badge, Certificate, or Milestone.
If “Certificate” is selected, a new selector will appear that allows you to choose from certificates previously built in the Certificate Designer.
In Requirements, apply initial requirement settings and add the desired requirements to achieve this award by clicking the green “+” button.
These awards can be used to move users from one group to another, opening up new content, courses, lessons. If you want the receipt of this award to trigger users moving groups, you can designate this process in the Actions tab.
Click Save.
Duplicate an Award
Duplicating awards can make quick work of creating a new award with only slight differences from a previous award. To do so:
Check the box of the award(s) to be copied > click Duplicate Award(s) > the new award will appear marked as (copy)
